The researcher has an interest to use conversations in Toy Story 3 movie written by John Lasseter because there are so many clauses that may give a high varied of sentence types and they may give a lot of knowledge related to considerable study.The theory proposed by Halliday (2004) was used as the framework to analyze the mood types and and tenor of the discourse built in the movie script and the result of which identified the mood types in the conversations are 28,12% unmarked and 39,19% marked declarative clauses as the majority, it means that the commodity exchange in the movie script is mostly giving information. And then 21,4% wh- and 5,29% polar interrogative clauses as the second majority which consist of 89 wh-clause and 22 polar clause. For the first minority, identified 16 imperative clauses (3,84%) and the second minority is 2,17% exclamative clauses. } }
