		abstract={This research to analyze the theory of Marxism in the Elysium movie about labor exploitation and rebellion. There are two problems that the author finds (1) what are the factors causing the labor exploitation according to the Marxist theory in the Elysium movie? (2) What are the factors causing the emergence of a rebellion in the Elysium movie? The aim is (1) to find out and identifying the factors of labor exploitation experienced by the people living on Earth (2) to find out the factors that led to the emergence of rebellion. The factors that cause labor exploitation by the residents of Elysium, that is economic factor, the gap between rulers and non-powers, welfare difference between Elysium and Earth, and the last is oppression by the rulers to the non-powers. Factors causing the emergence of a rebellion in the Elysium movie is the need to survive, the inhabitants of the Earth want to rule Elysium, and to obtain equality between the people of Earth and Elysium. Finally what I can conclude is there are four factors of labor exploitation and three factors of rebellion in Elysium movie. According to Karl Marx's workers in a capitalist society are exploited to sell their labor power to the capitalists.}
