Animal testing as much as 30 male rats were divided into 6 groups: normal group, negative control, positive control, a dose of 281.25 mg / kgBW; 562.5 mg / kgBW; and 1125 mg / kgBW ethyl acetate fraction of kenikir. All Group of test animals, except the normal group alloxan induced on day 0, followed by treatment of test animals from day 1 to day 14. Data obtained in the form of blood sugar levels in serum were taken on days 0, 7, and 14 and measured using the GOD-PAP. The data obtained were tested using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) with (? = 0.05) continued Post Hoc Test (LSD). Ethyl acetate fraction of kenikir can lower blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus 2nd type. Dose 281.25 mg / kgBW provide optimal effects with hypoglycemic percentages of 18.11%.} }
