Smoking for a long time / chronic has a higher risk for insulin resistance which can cause hyperglycemia. Hyperglycemia is a high blood glucose level with a value that is more than normal because the body cannot produce insulin or insulin does not work properly. The purpose of this study was to analyze data on smoking habits with blood glucose levels. Method:The research uses literature study method. The method uses secondary data types which is taken from several essays. The analysis used is descriptive analysis with an overview of the relationship data between the two variables and other factors. Results:The literature study found in two data states that there is a relationship between smoking and blood sugar levels, where the P value <0.05, which means there is a relationship. And obtained one data that shows a P value> 0.05, which means there is no relationship between the two variables. Conclusion:Based on the analysis of the research data, it was concluded that there was a correlation between smoking and blood glucose levels caused by nicotine factors which increased blood glucose levels.} }
