The difference in blood creatinine levels in the study was caused by the process of delaying the examination so that serum that had not been tested immediately had to be stored at room temperature and resulted in a decrease in creatinine levels. The initially normal level became low and the high level became normal due to the length of delay in the examination. This study uses an experimental research design. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of serum creatinine examination which was checked immediately with a delay for 2 days at room temperature (20-25Oc). The samples used were 37 serum samples from class 3A2 of the National STIKES TLM D3 Study Program which were obtained by total sampling technique. The results of the normality test of serum creatinine examination data that were examined immediately and delayed obtained data that were not normally distributed, then continued with the Wilcoxon statistical test and obtained a significant value less than 0.05 so that the hypothesis was accepted. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is a delay effect on creatinine levels.} }
