The gas enters the body become carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) and release the HbO2 ties. The CO gas contents in cigarette smoke is about 1-5% and can increase COHb levels in the blood stream around 2-16%. This study aims to determine the correlation of smoking habits on COHb levels in the final grade of STIKES Nasional students. This study method is using the analytical observations with the crosssectional approach and quota sampling technique with 15 students as the subjects of this research. This reaserch use Hinsberg-Lang UV-Vis Spectrophotometer methods. The maximum wavelength of COHb test is 414,5nm and the operating time between 7-12 minutes. This examination use UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and obtained a result between 5.93% - 6.14% with the average flat range is 6.04%. The correlation test Rank Spearman obtained a p value of 0.670 that means there is no correlation because the p value > 0.05. There is no smoking habits against COHb levels in the final grade of STIKES Nasional students.} }
