TERHADAP BAKTERI Escherichia coli ESBL (Extended Spectrum Beta-Lactamase)}, year={2021}, url={http://librepo.stikesnas.ac.id/804/}, abstract={Urinary tract infection is an infection by michroorganisms in the urinary tract. Microorganism that can cause urinary tract infection are most commonly found in Escherichia coli, these bacteria are one of Extended Spectrum BetaLactamase (ESBL) bacteria that cause resistance to several antibiotics. Butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea L.) has been known to contain the main compound anthocyanin which has antibacterial properties that can be used as an alternative treatment. The purpose of this research was to prove and compare the inhibition of ethanol and methanol extracts of butterfly pea flower against Escherichia coli ESBL. This research used the disc diffusion bacterial test method with variation in concentration of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. This research used a positive control of chloramphenicol 30 µg and negative control of DMSO 10%. The data of this research were analyzed using One Way Anova statistical test to see the difference in the diameter of the resulting inhibition zone. The results of the research showed that the ethanol and methanol extracts of butterfly pea flower were positive for anthocyanin, flavonoid, saponin, tannin, triterpenoid and alkaloid that were able to inhibit Escherichia coli ESBL bacteria. The antibacterial activity between ethanol and methanol extracts of butterfly pea flower showed no significant difference (<0,05) with the highest result at 100% concentrations of 8,6 mm and 9,1 mm while the positive control chloramphenicol against bacteria Escherichia coli ESBL had significantly different results (p>0,05) with the result that the inhibition zone was 32,2 mm.} }
