Having affinity (oxygen) to oxygen it forms oxihemoglobin in red blood cells. Hemoglobin levels can be affected by several factors such as food, age, gender, activity, smoking, and accompanying diseases. Zumba is a fitness program that combines the movement of fitness and dance Latin is arranged dynamically, colorfully, and interesting because zumba exercises do not have a regular motion, more energetic, fast movement and diringi with fun music so much energy. As aerobic exercise is not Too draining, slow movement but enough to give a positive impact on health and also affect the level of hemoglobin. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference of hemoglobin levels before and after zumba exercise. This research uses analytic survey method with comparative study approach with sample number 18 Student class 6th Akademi Analis Kesehatan Borneo Lestari Banjarbaru force 2014 that meet the criteria. Data were analyzed by Paired Sample T-Test statistic test. Results obtained hemoglobin levels before with zumba exercises average value 13.37g/dl and after doing zumba exercises average value 12.71 g/dl. The result of statistical test shows that there is difference of hemoglobin level before and after zumba exercise with significant value 0.000 or less then α (0,05). It can be concluded that hemoglobin levels of 18 gymnasts prior to zumba exercise were highest at 14.7 g/dl and at the lowest 12.3 g/dl with an average of 13.37 g/dl and hemoglobin levels from 18 gymnasts after zumba exercise at 14,2 g/dl and the lowest was 11.4 g/dl with an average of 12.71 g/dl. And showed the decrease in hemoglobin levels can be caused by two factors, namely due to the non-functioning of red blood cell (mechanical shock) and the damage of red blood cells.
