ABSTRACT
Every year the number of people is increasing, as carriers of HBV reservior is a container big enough continuous transmission to the surrounding. Hepatitis B virus can lead to acute hepatitis, chronic, and hepatocellular carcinoma Hepatitis B virus infection is a global public health problem. Worldwide it is estimated about 350 million carriers of germs (carrier) and 78% of them are in Asia. Nurses who worked in health care facilities are particularly at risk of infection are potentially exposed to risk one's life, because nurses in providing nursing care to patients will be in direct contact with body fluids or blood of the patient, it can be a place where the viral infectious agents can live and breed. which then pass the infection from one patient to another patient.  This study aims to describe the results of HBsAg in the hospital room nurse diseases Brigjend H. Hassan Basry Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan in 2014.  Nurses also one kompenen strategic importance in the implementation of health care. In carrying out these duties, a nurse is required to understand the processes and standards of nursing practice. Population samples were taken with a total sampling space to which all nurses in hospitals Brigjend disease Basry Kandangan H. Hassan, Hulu Sungai Selatan. With the stick method showed overall HBsAg negative. It is expected and recommended for all workers at the General Hospital Brigadier General H. Hasan Basry can Kandangan examination hepatitis B so that no worker is infected.

ABSTRAK
Setiap tahun jumlah pengidap semakin bertambah, karena reservior pengidap HBV yang cukup besar merupakan wadah penularan yang terus-menerus untuk sekitarnya. virus hepatitis B dapat mengakibatkan hepatitis akut, kronik, dan karsinoma hepatoseluler. Infeksi virus Hepatitis B merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat dunia. Di seluruh dunia diperkirakan kurang lebih 350 juta orang pembawa kuman (carier) dan 78% di antaranya terdapat di Asia. Perawat yang bekerja di fasilitas kesehatan sangat beresiko terpapar infeksi yang secara potensial membahayakan jiwanya, karena perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan kepada pasien akan kontak langsung dengan cairan tubuh atau darah pasien maka dapat menjadi tempat dimana agen infeksi virus dapat hidup dan berkembang biak yang kemudian menularkan infeksi dari pasien satu ke pasien yang lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran hasil pemeriksaan HBsAg pada perawat ruang penyakit dalam RSUD BrigJend H. Hassan Basry Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan tahun 2014. Perawat juga merupakan salah satu kompenen penting dan strategis dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan kesehatan. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya tersebut, seorang perawat dituntut untuk memahami proses dan standar praktik perawat. Populasi sampel yang diambil dengan cara total sampling yaitu seluruh perawat ruang penyakit dalam RSUD BrigJend H. Hassan Basry Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan. Dengan metode HBsAg stik didapatkan hasil keseluruhan negatif. Dan disarankan Diharapkan pada seluruh pekerja di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah BrigJend H. Hasan Basry Kandangan dapat dilakukan pemeriksaan penyakit Hepatitis B agar tidak ada pekerja yang terinfeksi.
