Timbal (Pb) adalah salah satu unsur berbahaya yang terdapat pada emisi gas pembuangan sebagai hasil dari pembakaran bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor. Polisi lalu lintas adalah orang yang mempunyai resiko terhadap pencemaran udara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar timbal (Pb) dalam darah polisi lalu lintas. Penelitiian ini bersifat Deskkriptif. Sampel dari penelitian ini 15 anggota polisi lalu lintas. Data berupa data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil pemeriksaan dan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunujukan bahwa kadar timbal (Pb) dalam darah polisi lalu lintas menunjukkan bahwa dari 15 orang responden yang diperiksa, ternyata sebagian besar terpapar timbal dalam darahnya, yaitu 73 % (11 orang) yang terpapar timbal dan hanya 27% (4 orang) yang tidak terpapar timbal. Kadar timbal (Pb) tertinggi didapatkan pada responden dengan umur >40 tahun sebesar 7% (1 orang). 73% memilki pengetahuan dalam penggunaan APD. Kesimpulan yang didapat adalah terdapat kadar timbal (Pb) di dalam darah anggota polisi lalu lintas oleh faktor karakteristik, lama bekerja dan pengetahuan dalam pengggunaan APD. Bagi anggota polisi lalu lintas dianjurkan untuk menggunakan APD pada saat bertugas untuk mengurangi paparan timbal (Pb).

Determination of Plumbum (Pb) in Polices Blood at Banjarbaru 2014

Lead (Pb) is one of the dangerous elements contained in exhaust gas emissions as a result of fuel combustion in motor vehicles. Traffic police are the ones who have the risk of air pollution, especially those who are often exposed to particles directly from the result of the combustion process in the motor vehicle and the Accu with higher levels when compared to lay people. This research aims to know the levels of lead (Pb) in the blood of the traffic police. This is research Descriptive. The sample of this research the 15 members of the traffic police. This Data in the form of primary data obtained from the questionnaire and examination results. Show research results that the levels of lead (Pb) in the blood of the traffic police showed that out of the 15 respondents were examined, it truns out most are exposed to lead in their blood, which is 73% (11 people) are exposed to lead and only 27% (4 people) are not exposed to lead. The levels of lead (Pb) the highest obtained at the age of the oldest respondents i.e >40 years amounted to 7% (1 person).100 % have knowledge in the use of the APD. Conclusions are contained levels of lead (Pb) in the blood of traffic policemen who are influenced by old work characteristics, factors and knowledge in the of the APD. For members of the traffic police are encouraged to use personal protection at the moment served to reduce exposure to lead (Pb).
