ABSTRACT
Sasirangan cesspool is one pollutant textile industry. Which as a high impurity so its not qualify for discarded to environment. This research have purpase to analisys whether have phenol in Martapura river at sasirangan vilage. Phenol (C6H6O) is organic compounds that have hydroxyl atom who bound to benzene ring. Is one of phenol derivative is used for textile coloring is 2- acetyl amino phenol, 4-chloro-2-amino phenol. Sample in this research is water along the Martapura river which located at central Banjarmasin, Banjarmasin city that taked on 4 point is 100 -200 M from upstream to downstream river with sampling points is 1 point at upstream from landfil,1 point at downstream from landfil, and 2 point at waste landfil. The research is using Spektrofotometer Uv visible and done at BARISTAN Banjarbaru (Industry research and standardization). At point 1 result 0,078 ppm, point 2 0,087 ppm, point 3 0,099 ppm and point 4 0,329 ppm and allof it exceeds the allowable threshold, which according to PP No. 82 2001 for wate class the phenol level is allowed is 0,001 ppm. Conducting outreach to the entire sasirangan textile industry against the effect from the waste sasirangan textile industry that dumped directly into the river.
