		abstract={This study aimed at investigating students’ perception and challenges as well as solution encountered by students at SMPN SatuAtapNegeri 1 Gerokgak.  This study applied mix-method study as the research design. The data were gained through survey and interview. The subjects of the study were 73 students from seventh and eighth grades of SMP SatuAtapNegeri 1 Gerokgak. The data were analysed quantitatively in the form of number in likert-scale where the numerical. Then, the qualitative data were analysed by using the Qualitative Data Analysis proposed by Miles and Huberman (1994). The results of the study show that the students have negative response toward the implementation of online learning. The challenges encountered by the students are lack of understanding in using the application, teacher instruction, and internet connectivity. The solution to cover these challenges are utilizing YouTube and Google to know how to use the application, finding appropriate place to get stable connection, and providing mobile data.}
