		abstract={This thesis presents research on an analysis the students? difficulties in
writing essay by using think pair share strategy in class XI IPA 2 SMAN 6 Bone.
This research used a qualitative method. The respondent consisted of 10 students
of SMAN 6 Bone. This study aims to determine an analysis of the students?
difficulties in writing essay by using think pair share strategy. The research used
two instruments, they were test and interview. Based on the results of the students'
difficulties in writing essay test, it was found that students who get good essay
and students who get low. Based on the interview, the researcher found that the
students have difficulty in writing essay by using think pair share strategy.}
