		abstract={The result of the research shows that (1) The mean score obtained by the students’ through pre-test was 4,92 and post-test was 6,99, it shows that using team game tournament is effective to improve the students’ vocabulary. (2) The t-test value was higher than the t-table (7,96> 2,069). It means that there is a significant difference between the result of the students’ pre-test and post-test. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative Hypothesis (Hi) is accepted.}
