In order to overcome this constraint we need to find alternative of local raw material which can be done by replacing fish flour with shrimp head flour. This research aims to determine the effect of shrimp head flour on commercial feed on the growth rate of tilapia. This research used a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 3 times P1 repetition (75% commercial fish food + 25% shrimp head flour), P2 (50% commercial fish food + 50% shrimp head flour), P3 (25% commercial fisj food + head flour shrimp 75%). The data obtained were applied with variance analysis and continued by Duncan test. The parameters which observed were based on weight and height growth, and Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR). All parameters observed showed that the use of shrimp head flour in artificial feed gave a very significant influence on the growth rate of tilapia with high growth results, while the FCR value was low.} }
