		abstract={The study was conducted with the aims to analyze about prices of beef domestic, prices of beef import, of beef production, total population affecting the import of cattle in north sumatera.
The research location selected purposively. To fine out the influence prices of beef domestic, prices of beef import, of beef production, total population to beef imports. The data obtained were analyzed through multiple linear regression test.
The research results show that prices of beef domestic, total population significant effect on import, of beef production, prices of beef import have no significant effect on import.}
