		abstract={Public health is one important measure for improving the quality of human resources and social welfare in Indonesia. To make it happen shall required a variety of purposes as described in the study to describe the implementation of Perda Kota Medan number 3 on 2014 about The No Smoking Area In a comprehensive effort specially at General Hospital  dr.Pirngadi Medan City.Operationally, this research used a qualitative approach with emphasis on the process of data collection and information research through in-depth interviews mechanism. The results of interviews that have been processed in such a tecnique that it becomes a unified information were analyzed to construct an outcome of research conclusions comprehensively.Based on empirical information, this research explain that obtained in implementing the Regional No Smoking Area Regulation specially at the general hospital dr. Pirngadi Medan not all done well because there are some policies as still finding people who smoke in the hospital grounds and yet the SOP to simplify reporting investigation that have not been properly implemented. Nonetheless there is a condition in the approach to the public that requires increased such as the organizational vitality in the future. Thus achieving the implementation of the no smoking area regulation?s performance can be increased in the future significantly.}
