		abstract={The study, entitled "The Effect of Maintenance Expenditures and Regional Revenues on Capital Expenditures Governments in North OfSumatera in Period of 2009-2016", aims to find out that maintenance expenditures and local revenue have a partial or simultaneous effect on capital expenditure.The research method in this paper uses causal associative research design. This study uses secondary data. Data obtained from http://www.djpk.kemenkeu.go.id. The sample withdrawal method used is purposive sampling method which has been collected analyzed using classical assumption testing. Research shows that maintenance spending and increasing regional revenues have a partial and simultaneous effect on capital expenditure. The results of this study need to be further investigated with the latest period.}
