		abstract={Typhoid fever is an acute infectious disease that affects the gastrointestinal tract with symptoms of fever for about one week, usually gastrointestinal disturbances and impaired consciousness. The purpose of this study was to get an overview of nursing care at Ms. N with typhoid. The design of this study is a descriptive qualitative study without direct intervention to the patient. This study uses data from research cases in 2019 and uses a literature study approach. From the results of the study, it was found that the patient said chills at night had a fever for more than 1 week. Nursing diagnosis at Ms. N is hyperthermi associated with the disease process (salmonella thypi bacterial infection), acute pain associated with inflammatory processes and the risk of deficient fluid volume associated with inadequate intake and increased body temperature. In this scientific paper, he describes the interventions that can be applied to patients with hyperthermia, namely by using warm compresses and administering antibiotics to reduce hyperthermia. The evaluation that can be concluded based on the results of the study concluded that the action of warm water compresses is effective in reducing body temperature. Based on the description above, it is advisable for nurses to further increase independent action, namely for clients who experience hyperthermia by compressing warm water with any disease, especially with hyperthermia.
