		abstract={This study focuses on implementation of MRP method in PT. Braja Mukti Cakra, a manufacture company which produce otomotif component and spare part. The objectives of this study is to describe the implementation of MRP method in planning raw materials and to prove that implementation MRP method has been successfully minimize inventory cost of raw materials.  The study uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis method. Qualitative descriptive analysis is used in analyzing the implementation of MRP method in PT.Braja Mukti Cakra by comparing the existing theory to actual implementation. On the other hand, quantitative descriptive analysis is used to prove whether the implementation of MRP has been effective in minimizing inventory cost of raw materials.  The result of this study shows that the implementation of MRP method in PT.Braja Mkuti Cakra has been in accordance with existing theory, except in determining the quantity order of raw materials (lot sizing). In lot sizing phase, PT.Braja Mukti Cakra still use manual technique which is focuses in meeting the buffer stock policy only, without using specific lot sizing method. Although at the lot sizing phase is done manually, the result shows that the implementation of MRP in PT.Braja Mukti Cakra is effective in minimizing inventory cost of raw materials.
