		abstract={This  study  aims  to  determine  the  readiness  of  PT.  Aerofood  Aero  Catering Service   Jakarta   (ACS)   in   implementing   Just   in   Time   Purchasing   system   using qualitative descriptive with study case approach
The techniques of collecting data through primary and secondary data. Primary data  was  obtained  by  interviewing,  inventory  report,  sales  report,  rejected  production report  and  spoilage  report  from  PT.  Aerofood  Aero  Catering  Service  Jakarta  directly, and secondary and the books which related to this study.
This  study  tries  to  analyze  the  readiness  of  the  application  of  just-in  -time purchasing  based  on  six  aspects:  top  management  commitment,  training,  employee relations, supplier quality management, transportation and delivery quantity.
The  result  of  this  research  based  on  six  aspect  and  theory,  four  aspect  show PT.  Aerofood  Aero  Catering  Service  not  ready  to  implement  Just  in  Time  Purchasing System. these aspect are top management commitment, supplier quality management transportation  and  quantity  deliveries.  Based  on  the  weighting  that  has  been  made ACS  readiness  of  only  53.6%  were  below  75%  of  implementations  based  on  ISO requirements.  This  means  that  ACS  is  not  ready  to  implement  the  JIT  system puchasing}
