It can be seen from the increasing number of activities performed by humans can be easily resolved. In this final project, the author tries to make a monitoring tool using a webcam -based microcontroller ATMega 8. Webcams used is a mini CCTV camera JMK JK -type 309A . ATMega 8 microcontroller serves as the central control of the entire instrument. Webcam camera mechanical movement uses a DC motor and controlled by a computer that is connected via the serial port, the DC motor will move to the left or to the right. Then the video captured by a webcam camera will be displayed on the monitor screen. This design can work well as expected. In this study, researchers took a design case study using a webcam monitoring tool in reptiles purbalingga. Thus will provide a reference for the installation of surveillance tool that can ease and enhance the task of monitoring and guard against any research activities carried out at a wild animal captive environment. From this study produced a device that monitors activity in captive wild animals and reptiles purbalingga the results displayed on the monitor screen.
