@thesis{thesis, author={Eman Supriatna}, title ={Analisis perbandingan protocol mott dan http menggunakan web client arduino}, year={2018}, url={https://repository.ittelkom-pwt.ac.id/5157/}, abstract={OT (Internet of Things) is a concept by harnessing the internet as the main medium of connectivity in the concept of intelligent device by connecting the IoT Arduino with other devices over internet without any human intervention in the process data exchange within regardless of using internet media. In the process of data exchange is governed by the Protocol, a standard or rule that permits the exchange of data, and communication between devices. The Protocol most commonly used in M2M communication is MQTT Protocol and the HTTP protocol. In the implementation, is expected to use data efficiently so that data communication can go smoothly. At this time, research will be conducted on the efficient data comparison MQTT protocol and HTTP between client and server arduino. In this study using Wireshark's application with the parameters that are used to perform the comparison is delay, throughput, and packet loss. The resulting delay in the HTTP protocol has a best of 0.6725 second delay counts on the MQTT protocol value is the best delay of 0.2143 second. HTTP has a bandwidth needs between 40,351 byte/s until 54,708 bytes/s, whereas the MQTT need bandwidth between 13,609 bytes/s until 16,621 bytes/Packet loss that s. dihasilnya is 0%. Based on the research results, the criteria have MQTT protocol more efficient in consumption data and have a low delay making it very effectively used for the concept of the Internet of Things.
