To be able to provide a high bit rate and maintain reliability can use multiple modulation or multicarrier. In the future, the FBMC OQAM (Filter Bank Multicarrier Offset QAM) method is expected to be a new method from the previous method OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing). OFDM modulation has a weakness where the use of greater bandwidth because it uses the cyclic prefix, causing interference between symbols (inter symbol interference, ISI). While FBMC has orthogonality which only divides the sub channel bandwidth. The use of OQAM (Offset QAM) which has a better advantage than QAM. OQAM is stronger against the effects of dispersion and improves decision processes and has high data rates. To get the information signal sent, ZF (Zero Forcing) equalization is used. Simulation results show FBMC OQAM with Zero Forcing is better in terms of reducing BER compared to FBMC OQAM. In the FBMC OQAM system with ZF decreased BER from a value of 0.4275 at SNR 0 dB to 0.01231 at SNR 25 dB. Whereas the OQAM without ZF FBMC has a BER value of 0.513 at SNR 0 dB to 0.5212 at SNR 25 dB. This shows that the FBMC OQAM using ZF has a lower BER value than the FBMC OQAM without ZF. For channel capacity results show that the greater the SNR value, the greater the channel capacity. This is shown based on the results of the increasing channel capacity from 0.9528 b / s / Hz at SNR 0 dB to 4,116 b / s / Hz at SNR 25 dB. Keywords: FBMC, OQAM, ZF, SNR, BER,channel capacity} }
