Calculation and recording of financial results that are still conventional using books, is quite troublesome decision making is done on night and minimal financial transparency can also lead to disharmony in the community. By utilizing the internet technology of things (IoT) media or containers that can only be used passively developed with systems that are able to facilitate actively. In this study the sorting is based on the diameter of the coin, the sensor used is TCRT5000 to study the coins that enter through the hole in accordance with the diameter. Arduino uno R3 is used as a microcontroller, 16x2 LCD to display updated coins and websites to get the total money collected. The test consists of the level of detection and sorting tests conducted in 100 trials on each coin value (Rp.100, Rp.200, Rp.500, Rp.1000). In the detection of Rp.100 rupiah coins located 2 times the coins were not announced in the 45th and 82m trials, so that they have an achievement rate of 98%. Then, in the detection of Rp200 rupiah coins, 2 times the coins were not announced in the 42nd and 79th trials, so that they had an achievement level of 98%. Whereas for the detection of Rp.500 and Rp.1000 coins there was no detection error. For sorting all coins can be sorted according to the diameter of the money and holes that have a detection rate of 100% accuracy. and sorting has a 100% accuracy rate on each coin.
