Turbocharger Is an aircraft divorced by exhaust from a diesel engine that serves to pump air used for flushing and combustion inside the cylinder. This is done by channeling the combustion gas pressure to a turbine, and using power turbine this move the blower. blower This is used to press air into the combustion chamber in order to get as much oxygen for the combustion process so that the engine power increases. The purpose of this research is to know the cause and the effect of lack of treatment turbocharger on diesel generator machine with method fishbone and FTA in MV. Isa Express. Turbocharger is a system that serves to produce air in excess of one atmosphere used for the combustion process inside the engine cylinder. Based on interviews, observation, documentation and treatment turbocharger, the cause of the lack of maintenance of turbochargers in diesel generator engines is the uncontrolled lubrication system, resulting in damage to the bearing and blower side components resulting in the decrease of air pressure into the engine cylinder. From these problems it can be concluded that the maintenance of the lubrication system to the turbocharger on a regular basis needs to be implemented properly and in accordance with the schedule of treatments made, so as to know the problems as early as possible and prevent greater damage.
