LPG is abbreviation of Liquefied Petroleum gas, is gas cargo in liquid substance. LPG consisting of butane and propane composed. Loading process of Liquefied Petroleum Gas onboard LPG/C Gas Attaka conducted with Ship To Ship Operation as an shuttle ship. Based on the results of research onboard, that loading process in LPG/C Gas Attaka there are obstruction due to several factors of both human factors and equipment factors that causes less optimal of loading operation. The purpose of this research is to find out how is loading procedure that should be taken onboard LPG/G Gas Attaka.
This is a descriptive qualitative research with describing detailed loading operation onboard LPG and the obstructions during operation and explain the efforts to solve it. The obstruction happened during loading Ship To Ship are operation not recognized based operational procedure, lack of communication and coordination during loading operation and loading equipment not in good condition. Efforts to resolve it are Data was collected by interview, observation, looking and factual observation by taking pictures about loading process in vessel LPG/C Gas Attaka. Concluion loading procces of LPG on LPG/C Gas attaka can be smoothly if do loading operation based procedure supported with good knowlede of all crew about loading procedure od Liquified Petroleum Gas with Ship To Ship , doing good communication an coordination and the equipment in good condition.
