PT (Persero) Pelindo III Tanjung Emas Semarang is State Owned
Enterprises that moves in the service of port that specifically handle vessels and
goods that are placed in the port. In the term of giving easiness of export goods
PT (Persero) Pelindo provide facilities that needs export service, but what
happened in the real implementation is not same with what has been expected,
therefore appears state of the problem as follows: 1) Anything in the delivery of
goods in the Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang ? 2) How to minimize barriers in
Tanjung Emas Port of Semarang ? 3) What efforts can be done in Tanjung Emas
Port Semarang ? The purpose of the study are to increase the service of export
goods, the problems are also found and it needs proper solution to increase the
service of export goods. This research use the descriptive qualitative method.
According to these results, it can be seen that there are still barriers when
exporting goods services. Contributing factors include: how to prepare cargo at
the warehouse and yard are less regular and impressed untidy, lack of readiness
of loading and unloading equipment, the ship's agent are often urged to apply for
permission to dock and delays in document processing.
So in the end can be concluded in the explanation of this paperare the lack
of ability of the load and dischare worker in placing cargo in the warehouse or
stocking field, it caused the late of export goods service process. Suggest to
PT.(Persero) Pelindo III Cab.Tanjung Emas Semarang for more selects the
loading discharging workers especially worker export.
