@thesis{thesis, author={Norida Chanafia}, title ={FRAGMENTASI TRAUMA MASA KECIL}, year={2024}, url={http://repository.stkw-surabaya.ac.id/493/}, abstract={This Final Project explores the creation of paintings that depict childhood trauma. The background of this creation is rooted in the understanding that childhood trauma can significantly impact an individual's emotional and psychological development. Through this artwork, the author aims to convey the complexity of traumatic experiences and how they shape identity and self-expression. The creation uses acrylic painting techniques and batik fabric scraps to express the theme of "fragmentation," illustrating how trauma fractures memories into incomplete pieces. The batik fabric scraps were chosen as a symbol of piecing together fragmented memories, representing feelings of loss and emotional turmoil. The creation process involved visual concept design, experimentation, painting production, and documentation. These artworks are intended to encourage viewers to reflect on the impact of childhood trauma and to see art as a medium for expressing and processing emotional experiences. By combining artistic techniques with cultural symbolism, this research contributes to understanding how trauma affects identity and how we perceive ourselves.} }
