In the film, Puss in Boots realizes that his love for adventure has consequences, discovering that he has used up eight of his nine lives. In response, Puss embarks on a grand quest to locate the legendary Last Wish, aiming to regain all nine of his lives. This study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology to identify the characterization of major characters in the film. The research adopts a structuralism approach, concentrating on the analysis of intrinsic elements in cinema, character theory, and Janet Burroway's characterization, as well as mise en-scene. Data is derived from visual and script elements in the film to depict the characterization of the major characters. The research reveals Puss as dynamic, charismatic, and multifaceted, blending heroism with recklessness and cunning. The antagonist, Wolf, exhibits a complex character with threatening and sadistic traits, contrasted by a calm demeanor. These insights contribute to a deeper understanding of character portrayals in the film, paving the way for future research on cinematic characters and characterization} }
