This study used a pre-experimental design and compared the results of the pre-test and post-test. The class X DKV 1 as sample, which consists of consisting of 30 students, as represented the population of this study, which is consisted of tenth-grade students at SMKN 8 Bandar Lampung. According to the study's findings, the pre-test's mean score was (56.1667), while the post-test's mean score was (65.8333). It indicates that storytelling impacts students speaking skill. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted if the sig. 2-tailed result (0.00) is lower than the sig. level (0.05) and the t-test result is higher than the t-table. In conclusion, the tenth-grade students at SMKN 8 Bandar Lampung show the significant effect when use storytelling to improve students speaking skill.} }
