However, being student organizers, students actually experience role conflicts because they have to balance academics and organizations. However, the role conflict of each individual is different because it is determined by several factors, one of which is the level of self-regulation. According to Johnstone and Sarne (Manab, 2016), a person's high self-regulation will be able to reduce role conflicts that occur.The purpose this study to find what a relationship of regulation and role conflict in Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa?s Islamic University of Riau of organizational student. The subject in this study consisted of 140 students where selected by using simple random sampling techniques. The instrument used in this study was a self regulation scals consisting of 31 items and a role conflict scale consisting of 18 items compiled by researcher. The data were analyzed by using correlation analysis o Pearson Product Moment. The resilts of the correlation analysis shows a value of r = -0.547 with a significance value of (?>0,05). It shows that there is a significant relatioship with the negative direction between self regulation and role conflict in Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa?s Islamic University of Riau. This means that when self regulation is higher, so role conflict in Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa?s Islamic University of Riau will be lower. The effective contribution of self-regulation variable to role conflict variable is 29.90% , the remainning 70,10% in influenced by other variables.} }
