Then it is proper for learning to get attention in improving the quality of mathematics learning. This study aims to improve the learning process and improve student mathematics learning outcomes by applying models inside the outer circle. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in one of the junior high schools in Gunung Sahilan with 22 students. The study consisted of two cycles. The technique of collecting data was carried out with a qualitative evaluation sheet, while the test of student learning outcomes was carried out through daily tests with each cycle analyzed the average value of student learning outcomes by comparison of scores before action and action. The results showed differences in mathematics learning outcomes for students of class VIII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Sahilan. This can be seen from the average mathematics learning score of students which increased (59.8) on the base score increased to (71.6) at UH I then became (79.4) on UH II. The learning process shows an increase, students are more eager to follow the learning process, but the problem that occurs is a process that often occurs in the learning process. The learning model inside the outer circle can improve the learning process and improve the learning outcomes of Grade VII Middle School students.} }
