This type of research uses correlational research and post-facto research with using quantitative methods. The population of this study was all class students XI MIPA SMA 3 Tapung. Sampling in this study using cluster random sampling techniques, the selected sample is class XI MIPA 2 totaling 34 people. The variable in this study is intelligence emotional as variable X and learning outcomes as variable Y. Data collection in this study conducted with a questionnaire technique, documentation, and interviews. While the data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The relationship of emotional intelligence to the mathematics learning outcomes of Class XI students MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 3 Tapung is classified as moderate, amounting to 0.407, then large emotional intelligence on student mathematics learning outcomes expressed by Determinant Coefficient (KP) of 16.6%. The results showed that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence on student mathematics learning outcomes class XI MIPA 2 class SMA Negeri 3 Tapung. This is seen in tcount> ttable i.e. 2,524> 2,037. Based on the results of research and discussion, the authors concluded that there is a relationship of emotional intelligence to learning outcomes mathematics grade XI MIPA 2 students in SMA Negeri 3 Tapung.} }
