The background of this research grade students poor performance X research in tian is a research experiment Semu ( Quasi Experiment ). This study used two groups of dal am of the school that is class X Mathematics 1 as an experimental class given treatment using learning model of problem solving and class X MIPA 3 as class k ontrol the use of learning Discovery Learning . Data collection techniques in this study were carried out with test techniques. Tests of student learning outcomes after being given treatment will be analyzed by inferential analysis namely Mann-Whitney because the pre-test data values of the experimental class and the control class are not normally distributed . So, from the calculations it can be seen that this means that H o is rejected and H 1 isaccepted so that there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class. Then based on the results of data analysis post-test after being given treatment that , so that H 0 is rejected and H 1accepted that there are significant differences between the experimental class and control class. From the results of the study concluded that there is an influence between student mathematics learning outcomes using problem solving learning models in the experimental class and mathematics learning outcomes with Discovery Learning in the dick class.} }
