Therefore the cause of a crime don`t longer caused by heredity but it`s also caused by environmental factors (social and physical). One type of crime that often occurs is a crime the rape which is a form the violence against women as a male sexual object. The crime of rape is one the most important legal issues studied in depth regarding legal protection victims of rape crimes. As for the problems in this writing are : (1) How the application of the law for the protection the witnesses and victims the victims of rape crimes; (2) Are the factors that become obstacles in the effort to provide legal protection for victims of rape crime in decisions No. 457/Pid.B/2018/PN.Bkn. This research is seen from the type of research including the type of research by means of survey conducted by observing directly in the field. This research description is a research that provides a clear and detailed description review of the protection victims the rape crimes in decisions No.457/Pid.B/2018/PN.Bkn. The author uses in data collection the method of documentation and interviews. From the results of the study there are two main issues, First, the efforts to protect victims of rape are still not going well, because the criminal justice system is still focused on the perpetrators of crimes so that the rights of victims so far are still neglected. This can be seen in the process of law enforcement and legislation which so far has not paid attention to how the process of providing legal protection is going well. Secondly, in the effort to provide legal protection to victims, there are several obstacles, one of which is the victim's reluctance to report due to fear and shame. On the other hand, limited facilities, infrastructure and authorized institutions will also become obstacles in providing protection measures for victims of criminal acts.} }
