One of the problems, students? learning achievement was an interaction result as an influencing factor from their individual factor (internal factor). The symptoms of learning achievement were: some students got low score; some students could not finish their task well. In overcoming these situations, demonstration method in teaching and learning process should suitable with students? need. The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of demonstration method in improving learning achievement of PAI subject in grade XI at Senior High School YLPI Pekanbaru. This research was a quantitative research with correlational approach. This research involved 75 people in population. The strategy to collect the data used questionnaire and documentation. The analysis result of hypothesis test with significant score was p= 0,020 < 0,05. It could be concluded that there was an effect of demonstration method in improving learning achievement of PAI subject in grade XI at Senior High School YLPI Pekanbaru. The number of effects could be seen in the table of summary with R Square score was 0,319 or 31,9. It showed that learning achievement affected by demonstration method in 31,9% with low criteria. Finally, it could be concluded that this research findings showed the effect of demonstration method in improving learning achievement of PAI subject in grade XI at Senior High School YLPI Pekanbaru.} }
