		abstract={This research is motivated by the issue of poverty making the Indonesian State who are looking for various solutions to overcome the problem of poverty. The state must be willing to open various programs to alleviate poverty. The Government through the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has created a special program to eradicate poverty called the family of hope program. To keep abreast of developments and overcome the problems that arise the policy of the hope family program continues to evaluate. The purpose of this study was to determine the family hope program evaluation in Bandar Sei Kijang Sub-District, Pelalawan Regency and its inhibiting factors. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method approach. Primary data were obtained directly through interviews from informants, namely Bandar Sei Kijang sub-district head, social welfare head, sub-district coordinator, social assistant, and beneficiary families. Secondary data were obtained from research documents. The results of this study indicate that the Family Hope Program evaluation in Bandar Sei Kijang District Pelalawan Regency has not run optimally, Then the inhibiting factors, limited facilities and infrastructure, communication and coordination are less effective, human resources or PKH officers who have not been trained, business does not run, PKH is FDS or empowerment activities that are not as desirable, a factor of social jealousy between people who do not receive PKH to people who receive PKH.}
