		abstract={Lifestyle is the activities and routines that a person usually carries out every day. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between lifestyle and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly in Mongolato Village, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency. The method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population of all elderly people in Mongolato Village was 276 and the sample was 73 people using the accidental sampling technique. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results of the research on Life style among the elderly in Mongolato Village, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency were mostly found to be in the poor category with 37 respondents, and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly was mostly found to be in the hypertension category with 63 respondents. The results of the analysis obtained a p value of 0.046 where P <? 0.05 so H0 was rejected. The conclusion of the research is that life style has a relationship with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly in Mongolato Village, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency. Suggestions for the public can be a source of information about the importance of implementing a healthy lifestyle in daily life to maintain health, especially for the elderly.}
