		abstract={This research aimed to improve the writing skills of the beginning with the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model of Indonesian language learning in class II SDN 15 Limboto Barat. The method used was classroom action research with the research subjects, namely class II students totaling 21 students. This research was carried out in the form of cycles, and each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation, and the reflection stages. This research shows that the initial writing skills of students in Indonesian language subjects are still in the low category. This is indicated by the low level of students' beginning writing skills at the time of the initial observation reaching 23.80% with skilled criteria and students? beginning writing skills in cycle I of 61.90% in the skilled criteria with a fairly good category, while the students? beginning writing skills in cycle II increased by 95.23% with a very good category in the skilled criteria. Applying the STAD learning model can improve students? beginning writing skills in class II of SDN 15 Limboto Barat, Gorontalo Regency. The achievement of providing actions from cycle I to cycle II researchers ended the meeting in the third meeting of cycle II because it had met the predetermined performance indicators of 80%.}
