		abstract={Mental disorders are a condition where mental functions, emotions, thoughts, desire, psychomotor and verbal behavior are disrupted, the impact of mental disorders causes families to lose a lot of time to care for them, experience emotional and social burdens due to stigma from society, there are several factors that cause mental disorders, namely genetics, malnutrition, stress, parenting and socio-economic patterns. The aim of the research is to analyze stress factors and the risk of mental disorders. Quantitative research design with a cross sectional approach. The population was 54 people with a total sampling technique therefore the total sample was 54 people. The results showed for the parenting style factor the p value is =0.033<0.05, for the socio-economic factors the p Value is =0.002<0.05, for the stress factor the pvalue is =0.015<0.05. The conclusion was an influence of parenting, socio-economic and stress factors on the risk of mental disorders at the Telaga Biru Health Center, Gorontalo Regency. It is hoped the suggestions will become input for the Telaga Biru Health Center in improving services to the community related to mental disorders, for families to be able to help sufferers in the healing process by providing direct attention or support to sufferers.}
