The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of consumption of katuk leaves on breast milk production in post partum mothers in the Limboto Barat Health Center area. The research design used a quasi-experimental design with a one group pre post test design, the study population was breastfeeding mothers 0-3 months in the Limboto Barat Health Center with a total of 115 people, the sample used was 25 post partum mothers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and used statistical tests. wilcoxon. The results showed that milk production before consuming katuk leaves was less than 8 times/day with an average of 4.48 as many as 25 respondents (100%) and after consuming katuk leaves was 8-12 times/day with an average of 8, 44 as many as 25 respondents (100%), and obtained a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05). It can be concluded that there is an effect of consumption of katuk leaves on breast milk production in post partum mothers in the West Limboto Health Center area. Therefore, it is expected to make katuk leaf as one of the herbal medicine therapies to increase breast milk production through health education to post partum mothers.} }
