		abstract={Lilito Beach is a leading tourism destination in Buol Regency, specifically in Lilito Village. The tourism attraction has beautiful views and there are maleo bird wildlife tours. However, not all people participate in developing the tourism attraction of Lilito Beach. The aim of this research is to determine community participation in the development of Lilito beach tourism in Buol Regency. To find out what hinders community participation in developing Lilito beach tourism. The method used a qualitative method. The results showed participation in the development of Lilito beach tourism have to pay attention the indicators of community participation, namely the provision of thoughts, material donations and energy contributions for the advancement of tourism.}
