		abstract={This study aims to determine the effect of social support and hardiness on the stress of students preparing a thesis at the faculty of psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. This research uses associative design and quantitative methods. The sampling technique used was total sampling with a sample size of 53 respondents and hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect simultaneously between social support and hardiness on the stress of students who are preparing a thesis with the results of Ftable (22.830) greater than Fcount and sig.= 0.000 value smaller than ? = 0.05, which means that the higher the social support and hardiness the lower the stress in students who are preparing a thesis.}
