One of the factors that can affect birth weight is the mother's weight during pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship between Weight Gain During Pregnancy and Birth Weight in the Postpartum Room of Sitti Khadijah Hospital, Gorontalo City. Quantitative analytical research design with a Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study were all Postpartum Mothers with Live Babies in the Postpartum Room of Sitti Khadijah Hospital based on visits in March 2024 totaling 118 people, the sampling technique was accidental sampling totaling 30 people. The results showed that the majority of maternal weight gain during pregnancy was normal, totaling 16 people (53.3%), with normal birth weight of 15 people (50%). Statistical analysis with chi square test (x2) obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), so it means that there is a Relationship between Weight Gain During Pregnancy and Birth Weight in the Postpartum Room of RSIA Sitti Khadijah, Gorontalo City. Conclusion: that weight during pregnancy greatly influences the baby's birth weight.} }
