		abstract={The objective of this research is to find out the application of the student facilitator and explaining learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class V.1 students at MI Muhammadiyah Unggulan, Gorontalo City. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the research subject being class V.1 students of MI Muhammadiyah Onggulan City with a total of 28 students. The instrument in this research was an instrument for observing teacher activity, student activity, and student learning achievement tests using the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model which was indicated by an increase in student learning outcomes in cycle I, the first meeting was 25%, the second meeting was 29%, and the third meeting was 36 % to cycle II the first meeting was 67% and the second meeting was 92%. This proves that the performance indicators have been achieved. So it can be concluded that using the student facilitator and explaining learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class V.1 students in social studies subjects.}
