The research method used in compiling this thesis is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the research subjects being class V.2 students, totaling 28 students. This research was carried out in the form of cycles and each cycle consisted of 4 (four) stages, namely, the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation and reflection. In the initial observation, the learning outcomes of students were still relatively low, namely there were 5 (18%) students who had learning outcomes ? 85 and there were 23 (82%) students who had learning outcomes ? 85. Then after the implementation of the implementation of cycle I, the results student learning increased, there were 22 (79%) students had learning outcomes ? 85 and 6 (21%) students had learning outcomes ? 85. In cycle II it increased to 26 (93%) students had learning outcomes ? 85 and 2 (7%) students have learning outcomes ? 85. Implementation of the Open Ended Learning Model Can Improve Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Subjects for Class V.2 Students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Unggulan Gorontalo city. The achievement of giving action from cycle I to cycle II, the researcher ended the meeting in cycle II of the first meeting, because it had reached the predetermined performance indicator of 85%.
