		abstract={This research aims to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors as well as the strategy of the Gorontalo Provincial Tourism Office in developing Geoparks in Gorontalo Province and to determine the strategy of the Gorontalo Provincial Tourism Office in developing Geoparks in Gorontalo Province. the authors used a qualitative descriptive approach by knowing or describing the reality of the events studied. The development strategy obtained is prepared based on the results of the SWOT analysis that has been carried out. Then the development strategy that will be carried out by the Gorontalo Provincial Tourism Office is to use the strengths and opportunities as aggressively as possible to develop this geosite into an educational tour of national and even international level and then minimize the weaknesses and threats it has so that it does not affect the existence of the Botubarani geosite.}
