		abstract={Schizophrenic patients experience the most hallucinations. These hallucinations cause anxiety, handling 
anxiety in schizophrenic patients includes murottal Al-Qur'an therapy, but murottal Al-Qur'an therapy 
There is still not enough practice.. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of murottal Al-
Qur'an therapy on reducing anxiety in schizophrenia patients with hallucinations at Tombulilato Hospital. 
Quantitative research design with pre-experimental design is one group pretest posttest design, the 
number of samples is 15 people using a purposive sampling technique that meets the inclusion and 
exclusion criteria. The results showed that the level of anxiety before being given murottal Al-Qur'an 
therapy was moderate anxiety as many as 15 respondents (100%) and after being given murottal Al-
Qur'an therapy the level of anxiety decreased to mild anxiety as many as 13 respondents (86.7%) and 
moderate anxiety as many as 2 respondents (13.3%), the results of the Wilcoxon statistical test obtained a 
p-value of 0.001 (< 0.05). It can be concluded that there is an effect of murottal Al-Qur'an therapy on 
reducing anxiety in schizophrenia patients with hallucinations at Tombulilato Hospital}
