		abstract={Elderly is an age group that experiences various setbacks both physically and psychologically, which causes mental and neurological disorders including anxiety, for example caused by a flood disaster that occurs due to a lack of preparedness in anticipating the disaster. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and anxiety in the elderly in facing floods in Duwanga Village, Dungaliyo District, Gorontalo Regency. The research design used an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 50 people and the sample in this study was 50 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The results of the study found that there was a relationship between knowledge and anxiety of the elderly in dealing with floods in Duwanga Village, Dungaliyo District. This is evident from the results of statistical analysis using chi square obtained p value = 0.007 < ? = 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and anxiety of the elderly in facing floods in Duwanga Village, Dungaliyo District, Gorontalo Regency.}
